The Automatic Electroplating Plant - ED Coating, 10,000 L is a machine that uses hoists to automate electroplating & ED coating processes within India. It has a tank that holds 10 000 liters and a rectifier that provides 750 amperes. The device operates at 300 - 400 volts of direct current to treat many workpieces. On the frame mild steel plus fiber reinforced plastic form the structure so that the machine resists wear and chemical damage. To control the movements, a human machine interface but also a programmable logic controller manage the functions - those components ensure that the coating is thick and uniform across all surfaces. Because of the computer controls, laborers do not need to move the heavy parts by hand.
