A Multi Ribbed Belt is a type of power transmission belt that has multiple longitudinal ribs (grooves) running along the length on the inner side. It combines the flexibility of flat belts with the positive grip of V-belts, offering high power transmission efficiency in a compact design. Key Features Design: Multiple ribs running parallel on the belt's inner surface. Cross-section: Flat on the outer surface with ribs on the inner side. Material: Made of synthetic rubber (often EPDM or neoprene) reinforced with fabric and tensile cords (polyester, aramid). Flexibility: Very flexible to bend around small diameter pulleys. Grip: Ribs fit into corresponding grooves on pulleys, providing excellent traction. Advantages High power transmission in a compact size. Smooth and quiet operation.
