PEEK YARN:Heat resistant poly-oxa-diazole fiber Dalon exists as: staple fiber, filament yarn, technical fabric,Non Woven FeltPROPERTIESHeat resistance. Thermal destruction of Dalon begins at 505 ºC, working temperature inambient air: from cryogenic conditions up to +400 ºC. Dalon fiber and Dalon products can be used for long-term use (up to 3 years) at high temperature up to +250 ºC.Low inflammability. Dalon withstands the exposure of open fire, does not melt. Oxygenindex LOI is 30%. Dalon based fabrics can not be burned with overheated (600-700 ºC) sparkles.Low shrinkage. Linear shrinkage at high temperatures (up to 450 ºC) is max 0.5 %.Chemical resistance. Dalon fiber has high resistance to organic solvents and acids. It isstable at temperature 100 ºC to diluted inorganic acids and alkalis.Natural humidity. Humidity level of Dalon can be compared to viscose and cotton level-(10-11%).Good dyeability in various colors. Simple dyeing process of spun yarn and fabric.- staple fiber (0.17, 0.22 and 0.33 tex)- filament yarn (reinforcement of auto hoses, braided packings, sealing)- sewing thread- spun fabric (protective apparel)- nonwoven felt (heat insulation)- technical fabric (protective apparel)- milled fiber (composites: brake pads, sliding bearings)
