Butylated Hydroxyanisole Antioxidant (BHA) is generally used to keep fats from becoming rancid. Butylated Hydroxyanisole Antioxidant is also used as a yeast De-foaming agent.Butylated Hydroxytoluene Antioxidant found in butter, meats, cereals, Chewing gum, baked goods, snack foods, dehydrated potatoes, and beer. It is also found in animal feed, food packing, cosmetics, rubber products, and petroleum products.Physical Appearance:White to pale Yellow Solid (crystal, Flake or pastile) with a waxy AppearancenceIdentification:Dissolve About 10mg in 2ml of alcohol. Add 1ml of A 1.0g/L solution of testosterone proportionate in alcohol and 2ml of dilute Sodium hydroxide Solution. Heat in water bath at 80°C for 10min. and allow to cool.
