In mechanical power presses, tools and dies are mounted on a slide or ram, and move away from the stationary bed containing the lower die.Power press. Power presses are metalworking machines used primarily to cut, punch, or form metal using tooling (dies) attached to the slide (ram) and bed. The slide has a controlled reciprocating motion toward and away from the bed surface and at right angles to it.The design working principle of the Power press machine is to convert circular motion into linear motion. The major components are clutch, flywheel, crankshaft, and stationary ram, and moving ram.It is designing in the way that work pieces need not to arrange again and again on the machine.
