The Galaxy EPS-300 Electrophoresis Power Supply is a sophisticated, multi-functional device designed to meet the demanding needs of modern molecular biology laboratories. Engineered to support up to four electrophoresis tanks operating simultaneously, it significantly enhances laboratory efficiency and throughput. A standout feature of the EPS-300 is its one-push protein function setting. This intelligent automation allows the device to automatically switch from stacking gel to resolving gel during protein electrophoresis, eliminating the need for manual intervention and reducing the chance of user error. Complementing this is the auto-presetting feature, which lets users input voltage, current, or power parameters; the device then adjusts the remaining settings automatically. This ensures accurate and error-free operation tailored to the specific experimental requirements. Post-electrophoresis, the EPS-300 activates a micro current status function designed to prevent sample diffusion and overrunning, maintaining the integrity of the gel and results. The device incorporates comprehensive safety measures including over-voltage protection, no-load detection, overload and short-circuit prevention, leakage protection, and an auto-recovery function that restores operation following power interruptions. Additional convenience features include pause and resume capabilities, providing flexibility during runs. The EPS-300 delivers constant voltage, current, and power outputs, accommodating a broad range of electrophoretic protocols. Timing is adjustable from 1 minute up to nearly 100 hours (99 hours 59 minutes), supporting both short and long runs. The large 192 x 64 mm LCD screen displays clear real-time data on voltage, current, power, and elapsed time, ensuring easy monitoring. Designed for standard lab environments, the unit operates on AC 220V / 50 Hz power supply and offers selectable outputs of 300V/400mA/75W or 600V/1200mA. Compact and lightweight, measuring 300 x 240 x 10 cm and weighing just 2 kg, the Galaxy EPS-300 is an ideal solution for reliable, safe, and efficient electrophoresis experiments.
