R40 Series Features
- All four sides useful of boxtable. Longer Gun Metal Nut for long life
- Greater Support through closed Dovetail guide ways and Wider drilling head. Better design of arm for higher rigidity and wide support.
- 250 mm long Spindle travel.78 mm steel RAM with 2.5 module Heavy teeth.
- Long bottom for greater rigidity to reduce vibration. Heavy duty column with heavily ribbed base plate.
- Wide supports of column, column bracket & arm. Heavy duty lifting screw of 35 mm dia.
- Oil Bath lifting assembly. Steel worm supported through ball bearing at both sides. Screw supported through taper roller bearings.
Autofeed Gear Box
Autofeed gear box used in Machine R40AA, R40BA & P40AA is having gears made up of NiCr Steel with heavy 2.5 module. All gears are also hardened. Two worm gears are made up of heavy duty 2.82 module teeth. All the shafts in the Gear Box are supported through good quality bearings and not the Bushes. Engaging Of Autofeed through TAPER CONE MECHANISM as in the lathe machines enables maximum loading capacity leaving behind other machines.
