Endurance testing of various components is extremely important in automobile industry because it ascertains the life of components and parts under extreme conditions. One of the most important part in automobile is Key Lock which ascertains the proper function of locking/unlocking & continuity. This is important to ensure the proper ignition of the vehicle. PRC has designed & developed a dedicated Endurance Testing Machine for Key Locks for online testing as well as endurance testing. A suitable fixture is provided to fix the key lock. Machine checks step by step continuity & torque simultaneously. All the steps are checked one by one with respect to continuity & torque. If any of parameter i.e. torque or continuity is not found OK, machine will reject the key lock. Torque is displayed on indicator and also the no. of cycles completed.
