PRINTED FOOD GRADE ONE SIDE COATED BUTTER PAPER VEJ RED & NONVEJ RED 40GSM

Product Details

Printed Food Grade One Side Coated Butter Paper (Vej Red & Non-Vej Red) 40 GSM is a type of food-safe paper commonly used for wrapping food items. The key specifications for this product would generally include: 1. Material Composition Base Material: Virgin wood pulp or food-safe recycled fibers, ensuring the paper is free from harmful chemicals and safe for food contact. Coating: One side is coated with a special layer that can provide a smooth and glossy finish. This coating helps make the paper water-resistant, greaseproof, and allows for high-quality printing. 2. Physical Properties Weight: 40 GSM (Grams per Square Meter), which is a lightweight paper suitable for wrapping and packaging purposes. Thickness: Approximately 0.05-0.07 mm, depending on the specific coating and pulp type used. Brightness: High brightness (typically 80-95%) on the coated side, giving the paper a clean white look that makes printing and branding visible. Opacity: Typically 80-90%, which helps in maintaining a solid print quality and ensures that no printing on the other side is visible through the paper. 3. Surface Properties Coated Side: The coated side of the paper is smooth and glossy, which makes it ideal for printing logos, food information, or other designs. This surface also enhances moisture and grease resistance. Uncoated Side: This side may be matte or slightly rougher, making it more suitable for direct food contact as it can absorb excess oils or moisture. It may also have a slightly porous structure, helping with breathability when used in food packaging. 4. Functional Properties Food Safety: Certified food-grade paper, meeting global standards such as those from the FDA or European Union for direct food contact. It ensures no harmful chemicals or dyes leach into the food. Grease and Moisture Resistance: Due to the coating on one side, it can effectively handle greasy or wet foods (such as butter, sandwiches, or oily foods), preventing grease from seeping through. Printability: The coated side is suitable for high-quality printing with vibrant colors and sharp details, making it ideal for branding, logos, or product information, especially for food packaging in the "Vej Red" (vegetarian) and "Non-Vej Red" (non-vegetarian) variants. 5. Environmental Properties Recyclability: The paper can be recycled if it is not contaminated with food residues. Being paper-based, it is biodegradable, making it an environmentally friendly option when disposed of properly. Sustainability: Made from sustainable pulp sources, this paper is often sourced from managed forests or recycled paper products, aligning with sustainability goals.
