Product Details
High-Shear Impeller Designed for specific applications where the high solidity of a marine propeller-type impeller is advantageous. Although it requires a higher quantity of material and therefore involves a higher manufacturing cost, it delivers excellent mixing performance, particularly in high-viscosity applications. The impeller is adapted from axial-flow propeller designs and is suitable for high-shear mixing, solid breakup, and dispersion applications. It is typically designed for direct-drive operation at motor speed, generating high tip speeds that provide effective cutting and dispersing action.
