Hafnium is crucial as it acts as the emitting point for the arc. Function: Creates the electrical arc with the workpiece, which superheats the gas into plasma. Compatibility: The electrode design is generally standard across all P80 amperage ranges, as the different ampere rating is primarily controlled by the nozzle orifice size.
