A PTFE laminated rubber diaphragm is a special kind of flexible seal made by combining two materials: rubber (like EPDM, Nitrile, or Viton) and a thin layer of PTFE (Teflon) on one side.
The rubber part gives it flexibility and strength, while the PTFE layer adds chemical resistance and makes the surface non-sticky and easy to clean.
These diaphragms are used in pumps, valves, and actuators to move fluids or gases without leaks — even in tough conditions like high temperatures or harsh chemicals.
