Teflon sheets, also known as PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) sheets, are versatile, non-stick, heat-resistant, and chemically inert materials ideal for various applications, including cooking, baking, and industrial processes. Their defining properties are their extremely low coefficient of friction and wide temperature range, allowing use from very cold (-328°F) to high temperatures (up to 500°F) without degrading. They are used to prevent sticking in cookware and heat presses, as linings in industrial equipment to reduce friction, and as chemical-resistant barriers in labs and chemical plants
