It is commonly used in low and medium temperature commercial refrigeration systems.R-507 is a replacement for R-502 and works well in both new and retrofit systems.It is non-flammable, has high cooling capacity, and requires polyolester (POE) oil. Commercial Refrigeration: Widely used in supermarkets, cold storage facilities, and refrigerated transport for preserving perishable goods like dairy, meat, and frozen foods. Industrial Refrigeration: Applied in food processing units, seafood freezing, and pharmaceutical cold chains where low temperatures are critical. Replacement for R-502: Used in retrofitting older systems that previously operated with R-502, which is now phased out due to ozone depletion concerns. Cold Rooms & Ice Plants: Common in cold rooms and ice manufacturing plants across India, especially in coastal and agricultural regions.
