The most distinct difference is Gulab Jamun is deep-fried and then dipped in sugar syrup, whereas Rasgulla is made of cottage cheese and directly dipped in the syrup after making the round shape.Rasgulla (literally "syrup filled roll") is a syrupy dessert popular in the eastern part of South Asia. It is made from ball-shaped dumplings of chhena and semolina dough, cooked in light sugar syrup made of sugar. This is done until the syrup permeates the dumplings.Rasgulla provides 186 calories per 100 g of serving since this is not only consumed during the festival time or other occasion but also in daily lives.
