It is specifically engineered for 3-core XLPE or PILC cables and is built to withstand harsh outdoor conditions including UV exposure and heavy pollution.Key Components of the Kit Anti-Tracking Tubes: Red tubes that resist environmental tracking and erosion. Rain Skirts (Sheds): Essential for outdoor kits to increase the creepage distance and prevent water film formation. Stress Control Tubing: Manages the electrical field at the screen cutback point. Conductive Breakout Boot: A 3-way glove that seals the cable "crotch" area where cores separate. Earthing Accessories: Typically includes tin-plated copper earthing braids and constant force springs. Sealant Mastics: Provides a moisture-proof seal at the lug and breakout ends. Application & Benefits Durability: Offers excellent resistance to UV rays, chemicals, and moisture ingress.
