C85E is a specialized synthetic refrigeration oil designed primarily for use in CO₂ (R‑744) refrigeration and heat pump systems. It's made by Fuchs (Reniso C Series) and is widely used in industrial and commercial refrigeration compressorsTypical Technical Specs Density (15 °C): ~993 kg/m³. Kinematic Viscosity: ~80 mm²/s at 40 °C and ~10.6 mm²/s at 100 °C — ISO viscosity grade ~85. Viscosity Index: ~118. Flash Point: ~246 °C. Pour Point: ~‑42 °C. Neutralisation Number: ~0.03 mg KOH/g (low acidity). Water Content: <30 mg/kg.
