The procedure to make these ring shaped murukku is totally different from any other savory we prepare for Diwali. The rice flour is cooked in boiling water and then small balls of dough are rolled into become these rings.Ragi, bajra and jowar flour is high in fiber and low in GI, therefore, it helps in maintaining blood glucose level and also helps in weight loss. Chana dal is a good source of protein. Flaxseeds have good amounts of fiber and omega-3 fatty acids. It is a good cereal-pulse combination.
