Rot Proofing Heavy Duty SandBags are a great flood prevention and flood defence solution. This sandbag is root proofed to British Standard BS1214. This copper based root proof treatment gives this jute sandbag a longer life than a jute sandbag with no rot proofing. Rot proofed hessian sandbags manufactured to BS1214 are used by the army for their sandbag requirements. The sandbag is slightly bigger than our standard duty filled sandbags and is made using a heavier grade of hessian jute fabric with the addition of rot proofing for an extended life.
