Adopts exported cambered saw-tooth knife making die-cutting surface smooth and without burr. The gap between the cushion roll and the knife mould roll is adjusted by hand pneumatic adjusting the soft roll to go up and down.Slotting machine is defined as a reciprocating machine tool that is use to remove unwanted material chips from the workpiece. It is used to produce path like splines, grooves and more, the machine is also known as vertical shaper machine.The ram of the slotter is driven by a spiral pinion meshing with the rack teeth cut on the underside of the ram and the pinion is driven by a variable speed reversible electric motor which is similar to the planer. The feed is also controlled by electrical gears.Thanks to an adaptor, BT system is suitable for slotting machines as well. Insert holders are fastened inside the adaptors by two M12x8 screws. The timing pin (L4xL5) assures the perfect alignment between the holder and the machining axis.Crank and slotted lever quick return motion mechanism. This mechanism is mostly used in shaping and slotting machines. In this mechanism, the link CD (link 2) forming the turning pair is fixed, as shown in Fig.The following are the feed mechanisms generally used in a slotter. Longitudinal feed: This movement is achieved by moving the saddle either towards or away from the column. Crossfeed: This is obtained by moving the cross slide parallel to the face of the column.
