PB102 is the standard grade of wrought phosphor bronze, containing additions of around 5% tin and up to 0.4% phosphorus to enhance its wear resistance, mechanical strength, stiffness and corrosion resistance.Phosphor Bronze Copper Alloy offered by Mmc is alloys of copper where tin is the main alloying element with phosphorus added primarily as the deoxidant. Alloys containing up to about 9% tin are wrought and alloys containing from about 10-12% tin are used as-cast. These copper alloys are strong, corrosion resistant alloys with vast usage in marine environments and electrical & electronic engineering where they are especially at the higher cast level.
