Product Details
The Raychem RSTI-CC/SA by TE Connectivity is a screened, separable coupling connector kit that integrates surge arresters into existing medium-voltage cable terminations. It is specifically designed to mate with the rear entry of a "base" T-connector (like the RSTI-58 or RSTI-68 series) to provide overvoltage protection for transformers and switchgear. Key Technical Specifications Voltage Class: Available for systems up to 41 kV or 42 kV. Surge Arrester Type: Gapless metal-oxide (ZnO) varistor core meeting IEC 60099-4 standards. Nominal Discharge Current: Options for 5 kA (RSTI-SA-05) and 10 kA (RSTI-SA-10). Interface Type: Designed for Interface C (630A/1250A) bushings as per EN 50180/50181. Current Rating: The coupling bolt is typically rated for 1250A.
