These sand screw feeders offer compact drives with built-in bearings and flanged-mounted standard induction motors with gearbox . These screws are placed below silos or fed through pre-feeder . The benefits of this configuration are reduced footprint, perfect shaft centering, and a smaller number of parts subject to wear and tear. Another important design feature is the ball jointed, adjustable position universal inlet and outlet spouts, it reduced the time needed to install the feeder. Another feature is the maintenance-free intermediate bearings.
