A rotary screw air compressor is a type of air compressor which uses a rotary-type positive mechanism. A rotary screw compressor is a type of air compressor that uses two rotating screws (also known as rotors) to produce compressed air. Rotary screw air compressors are clean, quiet and more efficient than other compressor types. They are also supremely reliable, even when used continuously.The rotary screw compressor is a displacement compressor type where rotating screws are used to compress the air. Compared with a piston compressor, the screw compressor compresses air continuously without pulsation. It has high efficiency at full load and low efficiency when partially loaded.Screw air compressors are an energy efficient option as they generate less heat compared to normal air compressors. Less heat means less water created during air compression and reduces the water that could get into your compressor, tools and final application.
