Luxfer introduced scuba tanks manufactured from L6X, a proprietary formula of aluminum alloy 6061-T6 developed by Luxfer metallurgists to provide superior corrosion-resistance and dependable performance in the most demanding underwater environments. The manufacturing of Luxfer scuba cylinders has been relocated to the Graham, North Carolina factory. The original tooling is being used to maintain the same specifications, buoyancy and weight distribution.Luxfer is the preferred choice by military, commercial and technical divers worldwide. The Aluminum 80 cu ft (11.1 liters) cylinder is the staple of the diving industry. You most likely used them in your first Scuba Class and on most charter boats around the world.
