Seed coating is the application of exogenous materials onto the surface of seeds with the aim of improving seed appearance and handling characteristics (e.g., seed weight and size) and/or delivering active compounds.Simply put, the reason to plant coated seed is to improve the establishment process. Most seed coating is done to improve the number of seeds that germinate, produce healthy roots and young shoots, and then go on to produce established plants.Seed Coating machine are used to coat the seeds to protect them from moisture and spoilage so that it can be stored for a long time and can be used whenever required. These Machine comprise of Load cells for high exact measuring and speedy arrival of the cluster into the shell.The seed coat has two layers. The outer layer is thick and known as the testa. The inner layer is thin and known as tegmen.
