Self Ballasted Load Panel for Switch Endurance Testing (IS 3854:2023 / IEC 60669-2-1) Product Description: This Self Ballasted Load Panel is designed for endurance testing of electrical switches as per IS: 3854:2023 and IEC: 60669-2-1, Clause 19.3. It provides a complete setup to perform high-accuracy testing for switches with voltage ratings from 230V to 250VAC and current ratings of 10A (100W), 13A (150W), 16A (200W), and 20A (250W). Key Features: Voltage Adjustment: Step-type transformer with selectable output from 230V to 250VAC in 2.5V steps. Digital AC Voltmeter: Range up to 300VAC, with 0.1V resolution, Accuracy Class 0.5. Digital Wattmeter: Range up to 300W, with 0.01W / 0.1W resolution, Accuracy Class 1.0. Digital Count Controller: Measures up to 99999 cycles. Selector Switches: Voltage Selector: 230V to 250VAC. Wattage Selector: 100W, 150W, 200W, 250W. Built-in Load Bank: Combination of resistors, capacitors, and diodes to match test loads as per standard. Test ON/OFF Push Buttons with contactor output control. Fail-safe Mechanism: Audible/visual alarm and FAIL indication if no current or continuous current beyond 10 seconds is detected (configurable up to 30s). Safety: Built-in protection for resistors during prolonged current conditions. Specifications: Input Supply: 230VAC, 50Hz, Single Phase, 25A with proper earthing. Test Load Configuration: 1 sample (standard), 3 sample configuration available on request. Transformer Capacity: 25AAC. Optional Customizations: Multi-sample testing (up to 3 switches simultaneously) Custom voltage, current, power factor settings as per buyer specifications. Ideal for: Switchgear manufacturers, testing labs, NABL-certified calibration centers, and quality control departments requiring compliance with latest IS/IEC endurance testing standards.
