A conveyor moves film and product to a sealer, and an airtight seal is made. The item is moved on rollers or a belt into the heat tunnel where the film is shrunk to fit tightly around the product. The same conveyor moves the goods from the heat tunnel to a receiving surface or container.Automatic shrink wrap machines will detect a product, seal, and shrink without human operation. Automated machines have infeed and exit conveyors, which need to be loaded and unloaded as the line is in process.The technique is not simple and easy: An object is placed in the shrink wrapping machine, and a loose film of polyolefin shrink wrap is wrapped around it. Then, heat is used to shrink the film securely around the object. The end result is clear, shiny film wrapped around the objectThe shrink wrap machine sealer closes open ends of the shrink film, and the heat source applies heat to the material to shrink it down to the product.
