Compared with conventional oils, Shell Omala S4 WE can significantly reduce energy loss in worm drives. --Extended life operations – for long-life applications, particularly where exceptional protection is required for inaccessible locations, for example, in wind turbine yaw bearings or where high temperatures or pressures may be encountered. --Suitable for bearings and other components in splash-lubricated systems. --Contains polyalkylene glycols and is not compatible with mineral oils or many synthetic oils.
