Siemens SINAMICS PM240 Power Module for 2.2kW (3HP) 400V Three Phase Motor to 5.9A at High Overload or 3kW (4HP) to 7.7A when Fan/Pump rated. The Siemens SINAMICS PM240-2 is a 3 horsepower (3HP) power module that converts a fixed frequency three phase 400V input to a variable frequency three phase 400V for speed and torque control of an AC induction motor. It has an integrated braking chopper and can handle a high overload of 2.2kW at 200% for 3 seconds, 150% for 57 seconds, and 100% for 240 seconds. The PM240-2 has an ambient temperature range of -10 to +50 °C. The PM240-2 is part of the modular SINAMICS G120 inverter family, which comprises a control unit and a power module. The G120 frequency inverter is designed to provide precise and cost-effective speed and torque control of AC motors.
