Raychem Medium Voltage Raychem MVLC is a cold applied retrofit cover that insulates OHL against flashovers caused by birds, intermittent tree contact and clashing conductors. Installation is made from one position, even with an energized line, by driving it along the conductor by hand for up to 20 meters, or by an automated tool for longer distances. Raychem MVLC can be used in many other applications normally up to 36kV. For increased insulation levels, 40kV and above, information is available
