This combination offers excellent heat resistance, durability, and flexibility. The silicone coating provides waterproofing, UV protection, and resistance to chemicals, weathering, and abrasion. Commonly used in industrial applications such as protective clothing, welding blankets, insulation covers, expansion joints, and fire curtains, this fabric withstands extreme temperatures, often up to 500°C (932°F) or higher. Its lightweight yet strong nature makes it ideal for safety gear and thermal insulation where heat protection and durability are critical.
