Magnetic conveyors contain permanent ceramic magnets in the bed of a standard conveyor. Magnetic conveyors hold ferrous parts fast to the belt and are ideal for elevation changes or part holding. They can be used in upside-down applications, with the strength and size of magnetic field designed per application.There are two basic types of conveyors: powered and gravity. Powered conveyors have some sort of external energy source to keep the items on the conveyor moving, typically by manipulating the conveyor surface.Common types are belt, roller, motorized roller and overhead conveyors. We categorize them as floor style (mounted on the floor) or overhead. Use them to move products, create buffers and deliver products in sequence for a production line.
