The spindle motor is what puts the “router” in “CNC router”. Usually mounted on a gantry, the spindle motor spins the cutting bit – the part that does all the work. As such, it's a crucial component of any CNC router .The unique design allows easy and accurate drawtube adjustment from the back of the spindle to provide quick changeovers from bar work to chucking work. The collet-ready spindle makes it possible to perform accurate hard turning and grinding, thus eliminating the need for dedicated grinding machines .A spindle is a rotating shaft with a fixture for holding a tool (in the case of a milling, grinding, or drilling spindle) or a workpiece (in the case of a turning spindle). The spindle shaft serves as a support, a positioner, and a rotary drive for the tool or workpiece.
