You can even carbonate drinks with fresh fruit and vegetables! It has never been easier to make delicious drinks, carbonation, addition of carbon dioxide gas to a beverage, imparting sparkle and a tangy taste and preventing spoilage. The liquid is chilled and cascaded down in an enclosure containing carbon dioxide (either as dry ice or a liquid) under pressure, Carbon dioxide is a great choice for use in soda products as it easily absorbs into a liquid including soft drinks to forms tiny bubbles. The CO2 also serves as a protective measure that keeps the soft drink fresh and prevents the growth of bacteria in the liquid while stored., Basically, the wine or soda is chilled, then the carbon dioxide is released from a reserve tank, at which point the two fluids meet in the primary tank. The food-grade gas dissolves into the beverage. And, like magic, the fizzy liquid is consumption-ready.
