SCD300Kgs - a novel and eco friendly way to address the needs of small scale food processing industries. The salient features include:Hygienic drying.No color degradation due to UV rays.Uninterrupted year round operations with optional backup arrangement. Lower running costs hence higher saving.Description of DrierCasing (Drying chamber) : The drying chamber is made of double walled fabricated casing with 50 mm PUF insulation. Inner wall of casing is made of SS 304 and outer wall with M.S. painted finish.Size of chamber : 4000 L x 1500 W x 2700 HTrays : Perforated SS 304 sheets or SS wire mesh – size 600 x 900 x 25 Quantity - 96 Nos ( 24 Nos in each trolley with 4 trolleys.)Heating : Hot air collected from Solar Air Heating panels circulated using a centrifugal fan. Backup heating options available with Electrical heater / Heat pump.Air heater Collectors : Each air collector is of size 2 M x 1 M and 30 collectors can be arranged in parallel / series configuration as per availability of space. This hot air is taken as inlet air into the cham-ber.Air Circulation : Two Axial flow fans provides the air circulation inside the cham-ber.Electric Control System : The blower will have on / off control, the backup heaters can controlled automatically by a temperature controller. The temperature can be measured in two or three points in the tunnel.Time of drying and output : The time of drying and specific weight of each product varies consider-ably.
