Its high Electrical and Thermal Conductivity, and excellent physical properties are imparted as it is precipitation hardened.Addition of Zirconium improves the softening temperature and hot impact strength.Applications : Current carrying parts of electrical switchgear, Bus bars and Short Circuit Bars and Rings for electrical machines. Moulds for Casting Ingots of non-ferrous and ferrous metals and alloys. Electrodes for resistance / seam / flash butt welding
