The CKINSTO Spray Nozzle Rain Test System (UL 50) is a specialized testing apparatus designed to evaluate the water ingress protection of electrical enclosures and outdoor equipment under simulated rain conditions. The system performs rain spray tests in accordance with the requirements of UL 50 and UL 50E standards. This equipment simulates natural rainfall using precision spray nozzles arranged at a controlled angle and pressure, allowing manufacturers to verify whether electrical panels, lighting fixtures, and outdoor equipment can withstand rain exposure without water entering the enclosure. The rain spray test is commonly required for certification of NEMA Type 3R outdoor enclosures, ensuring protection against falling or wind-driven rain.
