Small Scale Ampoule Filling Machine The single head ampoule filling and sealing machine is used in the pharmaceutical industry for the filling and sealing of glass ampoules. The machine has a single head therefore known as the single head ampoule sealing machine. It is capable of performing the automatic feeding, filling and sealing of ampoules. It is known as the Lab scale ampoule filling and sealing machine due to its wide application in the R&D laboratories, and institutions. It is used for the filling and sealing of ampoules of different size and dimensions. The specially designed ampoule filling and sealing machine for R&D labs is capable of 10 to 15 ampoules per minute. The machine is equipped with a variable frequency drive for regulation of speed through a speed pot. Process of operation The sterilized dry ampoules are loaded directly fed into the hopper. The harmonized starwheel transfers the ampoules to a receiving rack. The receiving rack further delivers the ampoules to the moving rack and transfers them to the machine through pre-gassing. While the ampoules stay in the Pre-gassing, Filling, Post Gassing, Pre-heating & sealing stations, the filling and sealing operation is completed. A stainless steel collection tray automatically collects the filled and sealed ampoules.
