Laminar airflow units create particle-free working environments by sucking air through a filtration system and exhausting it across a work surface in a laminar air stream.Laminar flow is defined as airflow in which the entire body of air within a designated space is uniform in both velocity and direction.Laminar air flow hoods function as exhaust systems. They draw in the polluted air, filter it, and release the pure air in the room. Workstations at industrial workplaces equipped with laminar air flow hoods are called laminar workstations.
