Reverse osmosis is a common process to purify or desalinate contaminated water by forcing water through a membrane, here are two types of RO plants; one is the domestic RO plant made to suit the needs at a smaller level. The second is the commercial/industrial RO plant made to suit water needs at a more significant level like schools, hospitals, etc, TDS stands for Total Dissolved Solids and refers to the total concentration of dissolved substances in drinking water.
