Standard Resistance Box (SRB-5) is a device used to provide precise electrical resistance for calibration and testing purposes. It consists of a set of resistors with known values, which can be dialed in to achieve the desired resistance. It is essential for accurate measurements in electrical engineering.Standard Resistance Box: (SRB-5) Accuracy :0.2 % Used as reference standard (used with KDB or Digital Micro-ohm Meter) Range 100 Micro-ohm to 10 Kohms with better accuracy & Wattage. Resistance Coils are made of Manganin wire having virtually zero temperature coefficient of resistance are used. Temp. coefficient of Manganin wire is 0.000002. 9 different values of 100 uΩ, 1 mΩ, 10mΩ, 100mΩ, 1Ω ,10Ω, 100Ω, 1kΩ & 10KΩ. Current ratings are for 0.1mΩ (100 A), 1mΩ (50A), 10mΩ (15A), 100mΩ (3.5A) , 1Ω (1.2 A), 10Ω (0.35 A), 100Ω (120mA), 1 KΩ (35mA) and 10KΩ (15mA) Power Rating ( VI ) of all Resistors are --- more than 1 Watts. NOTE: we can give accuracy as good as 0.1% in another model SRB-15 at extra price. Please ask for it if interested.
