CR Coils are essentially HR coils that have been cold rolled to their specified final thickness at room temperature and may be supplied as fully processed (annealed) or full hard.To obtain Cold Rolled Steel from Hot Rolled Steel, a series of additional processing steps are required. Firstly, the Hot Rolled Coils undergo pickling and are then fed into the Tandem Cold Rolling Mill. The output from this mill is cooled at room temperature and subjected to Electrolytic Cleaning before undergoing Batch Annealing in the furnace. Next, the coils pass through the Skin Pass Mill before resulting in the final product - Cold Rolled Closed Annealed (CRCA) coils.
