Automatic drilling machines and tapping machines are used for drilling or threading holes in a given surface.Tapping draws on the ancient Chinese practice of acupuncture, which teaches that the body's energy travels along specific pathways. Certain points on these pathways are stimulated to improve the flow of energy. The stimulation is done by inserting very thin needles (acupuncture) or by applying pressure ( acupressure)tap, a screwlike tool that has threads like a bolt and two, three, or four longitudinal flutes or grooves and that is used to cut screw threads in a nut or a hole.Tapping tools are divided into four types: straight flute tap, spiral point tap, spiral fuse tap and forming tap.
