SIDDHI INDUSCAN PS-600 is an industrial aggregate conveyor metal detector designed for stone-crusher plants and material-handling industries operating conveyor belts up to 600 mm wide.
The metal detector identifies unwanted ferrous and non-ferrous metal objects travelling with material on a moving conveyor belt. It is suitable for detecting objects such as broken JCB or Poclain teeth, hammers, pliers, nuts, bolts and other metallic components that may damage crushers, screens and downstream machinery.
When a metal object passes over the oval sensor coil, the system immediately provides audible and visual indications. The control unit is also equipped with a relay output. When this relay output is connected to the conveyor operating mechanism, the conveyor belt can be stopped automatically after metal detection.
The PS-600 uses advanced SMD technology and includes visual indications for Power ON and Metal Detection, an audio alarm, reset switch, relay output, 3-metre mains power cord and 5-metre sensor cable. An external hooter can be supplied as an optional accessory.
The unit operates on a 230 VAC ±10%, 50 Hz power supply. It is designed to operate between -10°C and +50°C and in humidity levels up to 90% RH, non-condensing. The product is manufactured in India by Siddhi Equipments Pvt. Ltd.
