A suction hose is a flexible hose designed to draw (suck) liquids, sludge, slurry, chemicals, or air under negative pressure (vacuum). Unlike ordinary hoses that only handle pressure from the inside pushing outward, a suction hose is specially reinforced so it doesn't collapse when vacuum pressure pulls inward.
