The first one is the siphon blasting cabinet, which utilizes a gun to draw abrasive media into the nozzle, which is then shot from the end part. Also known as the suction cabinet, it is ideal for light production, basic cleaning, and occasional use.In a suction blast cabinet, the blast media pushes at a lighter pressure and speed. Direct pressure cabinets are about 3 to 4 times faster at blasting residue and coatings from objects than traditional siphon blast cabinets. More difficult to strip heavy residue or coatings from a surface.Pressure blast cabinets are much more powerful than suction systems and provide faster cleaning rates (up to four times faster). They are advised for large-volume applications and aggressive blast cleaning.
