Product Details
Frame : Steel fabricated, machined and bolted type. The gear box is rigidly aligned with the end load plates by substantially holding the transfer members which also form the motor platform for foot mounted motors.Rope Drum : The rope drum is made from sturdy seamless pipe or fabricated from steel plates and is grooved to accommodate the wire rope up to the full length without over winding. The ratio of drum dia. to wire rope dia. is such that it reduces the wear & fatigue. The drum shaft revolves in ball bearings, ensures smooth running for long period.Wire Rope : Tested quality, 6 X 37 construction special plough hemp core flexible steel wire rope , having safety factor of 6 for class II and 7 for class III duty is provided on the hoist.Rope Guide : Standard hoist carries rope guide and pressure ring as standard feature. Cast Iron fully encircling guide ring fixed around the grooves of the drum to ensure correct rope lay.Motor : SUMO wire rope hoists are supplied with foot / flange mounted craneduty squirrel cage induction motor designed & manufactured to IS : 325 of reputed make. Motors are totally enclosed, half hour rated, with high starting torque, specially designed and built for hoist duty. The motors are suitable for frequent start – stop as well as braking and are provided with class B insulations.Brake : Electro magnetic Disc / Shoe type " fail safe " (i.e. brake acts immediately in case of any power failure) are used. Brakes are mounted on the non driving end of the motor and are easily accessible.Gears : Alloy steel hob cut teeth helical / spur hardened gears with solid pinions running on ball / roller bearings with oil bath lubrication.Controls : SUMO hoists are provided with a control panel comprising of heavy duty direct – on – line reversing type air brake contactors, transformers and fuses. All these are housed in dust proof M.S. fabricated sheet metal cabinet. The pendent push button station is provided at adequate height, operating at 24/110 V. to avoid accident.Bottom Block : Bottom block assembly consisting of drop forged steel hook mounted on thrust ball bearings, with large dia. sheave and hook plates made out of steel.Limit Switch : To avoid over hoisting or over lowering of wire rope, limit switches are provided with each hoist, which ensures highest & lowest position of load hook.
