91 000 74051 Mapei Mapeplast Super An integral waterproofing and plasticizing chemical admixture for concrete and mortar. It is a brown liquid that disperses cement particles, reducing the water content required in a mix and making the concrete denser and more impermeable.Primary Function: To act as a waterproofing agent from within the concrete (integral) and as a plasticizer to improve workability. It also has a slight retarding effect, slowing down the setting time, which is beneficial in hot weather and for large pours.Key Features & Benefits (from TDS):Integral Waterproofing: Reduces the permeability of concrete, making it water-resistant throughout its mass.Plasticizing Effect: Improves workability and ease of placement for a given water content.Water Reduction: Allows for a reduction in the water/cement ratio, leading to higher strength and durability.Set Retardation: Slows down the hydration process, reducing the risk of cold joints in large pours and mitigating thermal cracking in mass concrete.Chloride-Free: Will not corrode steel reinforcement.Compatible: Can be used with other admixtures like air-entraining agents and micro-silica.Q1: What is the recommended dosage?A: The standard dosage for integral waterproofing is 0.4% by weight of cement.
