Description Auramix 200 is a unique combination of the latest generation superplasticisers , based on special polymers with long lateral chains. At the start of the mixing process this special polymers develop an electrostatic repulsion which greatly improves separation and dispersion of cement particles .This mechanism considerably reduces the water demand in flowable concrete. Auramix 200 combines the properties of water reduction and workability retention. It allows the production of high performance concrete and/or concrete with high workability retention. Auramix 200 is a strong superplasticiser allowing production of consistent concrete properties around the required dosage. Properties Appearance : Yellowish to Brownish liquid pH : Minimum 6.0 Specific Gravity @ 27 0C : 1.03 - 1.07 Chloride content : Nil (As per BS:5075 Part I) Alkali content : Typically less than 1 g Na2O equivalent / litre of admixture. Dosage The optimum dosage of Auramix 200 to meet specific requirements should always be determined by trials using the materials and conditions that will be experienced in use. The normal dosage range is between 0.5 to 2.5 kg/100 kg of cementitious material. Use at other dosages Dosage outside the normal range quoted above can be used to meet particular mix requirements. Contact Fosroc for advice in these cases Effects of overdosing Over dosage may cause delay in the setting time (but better than conventional SNF based admixture ) and segregation. Packaging Auramix 200 is available in 200 litre drums and bulk tanker. Storage Auramix 200 has a minimum shelf life of 12 months provided the temperature is kept within the range of 20C to 500 C and stored in unopened containers.
